Students from the Institute of Engineering at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (13WIN13) organized a volunteer program named ‘Vì nụ cười ngày Tết’ (Bring Joy to Tet Holiday), delivering many meaningful gifts to the people of Vinh Xuan Commune, Tra On District, Vinh Long Province.
Attendees from the Institute of Engineering included Mr. Le Hong Hieu, Vice Director of the Institute; Mr. Phan Van Thiet, Secretary of the Youth Union; Mr. Pham Ngoc Tram, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Minh Tan, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union; Mr. Huynh Vu Bang, Chairman of the Association Branch; and members of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union – Association of the Institute.
Many gifts are ready to be distributed to students and families facing difficult circumstances
Students from the Institute of Engineering share their heartfelt, practical, and meaningful giftsWith the desire to share and help those in difficult circumstances, the Institute of Engineering delegation traveled over 170 kilometers to Vinh Xuan Commune, Tra On District, Vinh Long Province. There, they presented 62 gifts to disadvantaged households and 5 bicycles to poor students who have overcome challenges, motivating them to continue their education.
This activity has spread humane values, contributing to a full and joyful Tet holiday for the people of Vinh Xuan
