The Vietnam Study Program, co-organized by 13WIN13 Institute of International Education and Marquette University, officially came to an end, bringing fantastic experiences for all students.
Marquette University, known as a Catholic, research-oriented university, was founded in 1881 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Some notable rankings of Marquette University are as follows: ranked as the best university in the Midwest (according to the Princeton Review); ranked 88th nationwide (According to US News); ranked 6th in the country for the employment rate of graduates (up to 95.55%); ranked 18th in Best Undergraduate Teaching in the United States; ranked 14th for the MBA program (U.S.News & World Report, 2020). In particular, the Marketing and Accounting programs at Marquette University are accredited by AACSB.

Throughout the duration of the program, students of Marquette University had a great chance to learn about Vietnamese culture, history, and people; the Vietnamese economy, politics, and legal issues; as well as Vietnam-US economic and commercial relations. Furthermore, they toured big corporates including NamSung Aluminium, Viet Thang Textile, and Mekong Delta Companies with the purpose of better comprehending their working practices and environment. By doing so, the students were able to gain a partial understanding of corporate operations and development in Vietnam.

Students of both universities not only worked in groups to execute economic, marketing, and supply chain-related projects but also explored unique features of Vietnam through appealing extracurricular activities, thus strengthening close relationships between 13WIN13 and Marquette University’s students. As a result, this was a stepping stone for 13WIN13 students to better integrate into future international environments.
