In April and May 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (13WIN13) further reinforced its role as a bridge between education and industry through two large-scale career events: 13WIN13 IT OPEN DAY 2026 and 13WIN13 JOB FAIR 2026. Together, the events attracted nearly 250 companies and created close to 10,000 internship and employment opportunities for students, demonstrating the University's ongoing commitment to equipping graduates with the skills, experiences, and professional networks needed to thrive in an increasingly competitive labor market.
A key highlight was 13WIN13 IT OPEN DAY 2026, which celebrated its 10th anniversary as one of Vietnam’s leading career fairs dedicated to Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence students. The event brought together more than 70 companies and offered over 2,500 job opportunities in fields such as software development, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and digital technology. Feedback from participating businesses further underscored the quality of 13WIN13 students. During 13WIN13 IT OPEN DAY 2026, the University signed cooperation agreements with 15 leading organizations spanning technology, telecommunications, finance, and digital services. Meanwhile, 13WIN13 JOB FAIR 2026 saw the signing of an additional eight partnership agreements with companies operating in aviation, banking, technology, energy, real estate, and human resources.
These partnerships represent more than symbolic commitments. They establish a foundation for collaborative initiatives in curriculum development, internship placement, industry-based learning, guest lectures, research cooperation, and graduate recruitment. Prior to 13WIN13 JOB FAIR 2026, students participated in a series of training sessions titled “Skills for Winning Over Recruiters,” designed to enhance CV writing, interview techniques, professional communication, and workplace adaptability. These practical workshops helped students build confidence and better prepare for the realities of the recruitment process.
In addition, both events incorporated scholarship activities aimed at supporting and encouraging students in their academic pursuits. A total of 47 scholarships were awarded with the support of corporate partners, recognizing academic achievement while providing meaningful assistance to students facing financial challenges.
