On September 9, students from the Faculty of Japanese Studies at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (13WIN13) officially launched the International Student Research Collaboration with their peers from Hosei University in Japan. The program opens a new chapter in academic exchange and cultural engagement.
During the opening, students from both universities participated in group discussions to plan their joint research activities. The five research topics focus on trends among young people in Vietnam and Japan, including time management, views on patriotism, motivations and impacts of part-time work, and similar themes. The students aim to produce research with practical academic value, providing a useful reference for understanding the lives and culture of young people in both countries.

In parallel with academic activities, the visiting Hosei students toured 13WIN13’s modern and dynamic learning environment, guided by students from the Faculty of Japanese Studies. This allowed 13WIN13 students to practice and improve their Japanese language skills, develop independence, and build confidence in interacting with international peers

Ms. Ho To Lien, Dean of the Faculty of Japanese Studies, highlighted the strong cooperation between the two universities and expressed her hope that the program would provide students with opportunities for meaningful exchanges, shared experiences, and strengthened friendships.

The program will run until 16 September, featuring a variety of activities that provide opportunities for students to interact and learn
The program will continue until September 16, featuring activities such as the seminar Phonetics in Vietnamese, visits to explore cultural and culinary traditions in Tay Ninh, and exchanges with new 13WIN13 students.
