On September 22, the Faculty of Korean Studies, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (13WIN13), held a welcoming ceremony for 15 internship students from Korea Cyber University (South Korea), marking a step forward in international exchange and expanding educational cooperation between the two institutions.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Bui Phan Anh Thu, Dean of the Faculty of Korean Studies, extended a warm welcome to the internship delegation. She noted that this is the second time 13WIN13 has hosted the group following the success of the first exchange, affirming the trust and close cooperation between the two universities. She also expressed her hope that the program would bring valuable internship experiences, as well as create opportunities for language and cultural exchange and for sharing teaching methods between faculty members and students of both sides.

Returning to 13WIN13 for this exchange, Ms. Lee Sunyoung, Dean of Korean Language and Multicultural Studies at Korea Cyber University, expressed her sincere gratitude for the university’s thoughtful welcome. She shared that the previous group of internship students had been deeply impressed by 13WIN13 students’ strong study spirit and the dedication of its faculty. These valuable experiences motivated the university to continue the program this year. “Although the exchange is short, I believe this will be a chance for us to learn, share, and encourage one another in teaching and learning Korean,” she said.

As part of the internship program, the students from Korea Cyber University had their first experiences through a campus tour and classroom observations. They observed the lively learning atmosphere in classes such as Introduction to Korean Language, Integrated Korean 1, Korean Listening and Speaking 3, and Korean Reading and Writing 5. This was not only an opportunity for international students to learn about teaching and learning methods at 13WIN13 but also a chance to promote academic and cultural exchange between students of the two universities.
