On November 30, the Faculty of Finance and Commerce and the Center for Corporate Relations at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (13WIN13), in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Consultants and Agent Association (HTCAA), hosted a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement paves the way for numerous opportunities for student engagement and academic enrichment in the future.

Following the signing ceremony, a scientific seminar titled “Career Orientation for Students in the Fields of Finance, Banking, Accounting, and Business in the Era of Integration and Digitalization” was held with enthusiastic participation from students.

With the theme “Creating Competitive Advantages in the Fields of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance through International Certifications,” Ms. Pham Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau shared valuable insights into ACCA and its globally recognized qualifications. She emphasized that selecting the right learning environment, one that offers strong recruitment support and internationally accredited certifications, can greatly enhance students' development and expand their career opportunities. Ms. Chau also highlighted the importance of developing a broad set of essential skills, including strategic thinking, problem-solving, financial management, leadership, administration, communication, and IT proficiency. These competencies are vital for standing out in competitive industries and increasing one's professional value.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tinh delivered a presentation on the topic "Challenges and Opportunities for the Development of Tax Consulting and Agency Services in Vietnam amid Economic Integration." His insights gave students a deeper understanding of tax advisory and agency services, while also highlighting the importance of tax obligations, proper declaration procedures, and payment processes. Through his presentation, students gained a comprehensive overview of the profession, equipping them with the essential knowledge needed to enter the field confidently.
